Lowe Stillages & Cages is a UK manufacturer of steel stillages, cages, pallets and material handling equipment — engineered, load-tested and made to order at our works in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, with certification available on custom builds.
Our Story
We manufacture in the UK, from our own works in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. Steel is cut, formed, welded and finished under one roof — which means we control the quality, the lead time and the detail, rather than relying on an imported container of unknowns.
Almost everything we make is made to order. Standard ranges give you a fast, proven starting point; from there we adapt sizes, loads, fittings and finishes to suit the job. When there is no standard for it, we design and build it bespoke.
The approach is engineering-led. Before anything goes into production the design is worked out for its real duty — the loads it will carry, how it stacks, how it is lifted and how it takes daily handling — and then load-tested so it performs in service, not just on paper.
If it carries a load, it should be engineered for that load — and proven before it leaves the factory.
