How many tyres does a tyre stillage hold?
The Load King Tyre Metal Stillage holds around 40 tyres based on a 225mm tread width. Actual capacity depends on tyre diameter and tread width, so larger or wider tyres will reduce the count per stillage.
Can the stillages be stacked and collapsed?
Yes. Units stack two high when assembled and loaded, and fold down to stack six high when empty. Collapsing them when not in use saves warehouse floor space and cuts return-transport costs.
Can tyre stillages be moved by forklift or crane?
They are compatible with forklift and crane handling as part of a standard materials-handling operation, so loaded units can be shifted and stacked mechanically. For lifting that requires certified, LOLER-rated lifting points, see our Certified Lifting Stillages range.
