What sizes of gas bottle cage do you offer?
We stock a single-tier safety cage on a 1200 x 1200mm footprint at 1800mm high, and a two-tier version with shelving sized for 800mm bottles on the same footprint. Because every cage is made to order, we can also build to your specific bottle diameter, height and quantity.
Can the cages be moved by forklift or crane when loaded?
Yes. Both gas bottle cages are designed to be lifted and moved fully loaded by forklift, and are compatible with crane and automated material-handling systems, so cylinders stay contained and restrained throughout loading and transit.
Can you build a bespoke gas bottle cage for a specific cylinder size or quantity?
Yes. As the manufacturer we build to specification — the two-tier cage, for example, is configured for 800mm bottles. Send us your bottle dimensions, quantity and any tier or shelving requirements and we will engineer and load-test the cage to suit, with fast lead times on bespoke builds.
What finish do the cages come in, and are they UK-made?
Every cage is manufactured in the UK and is UKCA-certified. The single-tier safety cage is shown in RAL 9005 black, and finishes can be specified to your requirement. Call 01889 563 244 for available finishes and current lead times.

Each cage is configured to move as a single loaded unit by forklift or crane, cutting manual handling and keeping bottles contained during loading and transit. The range covers a single-tier safety cage on a 1200 x 1200mm footprint (1800mm high) and a two-tier version with shelving to hold 800mm bottles more densely within the same footprint. Every gas bottle cage is UK-manufactured at our Uttoxeter works, UKCA-certified and engineered and load-tested to your specification, so bespoke sizes, tier layouts and finishes can be made to order.
