Sheeted Stillages

Load King sheeted stillages enclose your load behind solid steel sheet panels — full-height protection that open mesh cannot match. Where a mesh stillage leaves contents exposed, sheeted sides shield parts from dust, weather, debris and view, keeping finished goods, small items and loose components clean and contained in transit.

Questions

Sheeted Stillages — common questions

What's the difference between a sheeted and a mesh stillage?

Sheeted stillages have solid steel sheet sides that fully enclose the load, protecting contents from dust, weather and debris and keeping them out of sight. Mesh stillages use open welded panels that leave contents visible and allow airflow and drainage. Choose sheeted when protection, containment or security matter most; choose mesh when visibility and ventilation are the priority.

What sizes and access options are available?

The range covers nine models with footprints from 900 x 600mm up to 2500 x 1250mm. Access options include fixed-frame, open-front, open-sided, half-drop-front and removable-front designs, plus fixed or removable internal partitions and a double-decker drop-front unit.

Can sheeted stillages be crane-lifted?

The Liftable Sheeted Stillage is supplied load-tested for lifting and handling. For crane-lifting with certified, LOLER-rated lifting points, see our Certified Lifting Stillages range. The remaining sheeted models are designed for forklift handling and stacking.

Are sheeted stillages stackable?

Yes. Every model is fabricated from heavy box-section steel to stack securely when loaded, saving floor space while keeping stored parts enclosed and protected. All units are compatible with forklifts and standard material-handling equipment.

More about Sheeted Stillages

The range spans nine models across footprints from 900 x 600mm to 2500 x 1250mm. Each is fabricated from heavy box-section steel, stacks for compact storage and handles by forklift. Access is what sets the models apart: fixed-frame and open-front units for straightforward loading, open-sided and half-drop-front versions for easier reach, and a removable-front design for full access. Fixed or removable internal partitions separate mixed batches within one unit, while a double-decker drop-front option adds capacity. For crane work, the Liftable Sheeted Stillage is supplied load-tested; for crane-lifting with certified, LOLER-rated lifting points, see our Certified Lifting Stillages range. Every unit is built to order in Uttoxeter.
