Every Lowe order is UK-manufactured and, in most cases, made to order to your exact specification. The information below explains how we deliver, what to expect on arrival and how returns are handled.
We deliver throughout mainland Great Britain. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, offshore locations or addresses outside the UK may attract an additional carriage charge and a longer lead time. Any such charge will be confirmed on your quotation or before your order is accepted.
The majority of our products are engineered and manufactured to order. Because of this, the lead time depends on the specification, quantity and current production schedule. An indicative lead time is provided on your quotation, and a confirmed dispatch or delivery window is agreed once your order is accepted and any required drawings or specifications are signed off.
We work hard to achieve fast UK lead times, but any date given is an estimate and time is not of the essence unless we have agreed a firm delivery date in writing. We will keep you informed if a schedule changes.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery is made to the kerbside at ground level at the address you provide. Because our products are heavy steel items, it is your responsibility to ensure that:
If mechanical offloading or tail-lift delivery is required, please tell us at the point of enquiry so we can quote and schedule appropriately. Failed deliveries caused by access problems, or by no one being available to offload or receive the goods, may incur a re-delivery charge.
Please inspect your delivery carefully before signing for it. Where possible, note any visible damage, shortage or discrepancy on the carrier’s delivery documentation before signing, or sign as “unchecked”.
To help us resolve any issue quickly, please report:
Please keep the goods, packaging and any pallets until the matter is resolved, and where possible send us photographs. Prompt reporting allows us to investigate with the carrier and put things right.
Because we are a business-to-business manufacturer of made-to-order equipment, our returns policy distinguishes between standard stock items and bespoke or made-to-order goods.
Items manufactured to your specification, or otherwise made or configured to order, are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless they are faulty or not as described. Because they are produced specifically for you, they cannot be resold, so we are unable to accept them back simply because they are no longer required or were ordered in error.
Where an item is a standard, unmodified stock product, we may at our discretion accept a return of unused goods in their original, resaleable condition. Please contact us first to agree the return in writing. A handling or restocking charge may apply, and the cost of return carriage will normally be your responsibility.
If any item arrives faulty, damaged or is not what you ordered, we will put it right. Please contact us promptly with your order reference and a description (and, ideally, photographs) of the problem. We will arrange, at our option, to inspect, repair, replace or credit the affected goods. Please do not return anything to us without agreeing it with us first, as we may need to arrange collection.
This does not affect any rights you may have under the terms of your contract with us or under applicable law.
To arrange a return, report damage or a shortage, or raise any delivery query, please contact our team quoting your order number:
