One specification, every depot.

The cost in rail is rarely the storage itself — it is what happens when each site buys its own. Units that do not stack together, do not fit the same vehicle and cannot be swapped between depots turn a shared pool of equipment into a set of isolated ones.

Engineering one specification and repeating it removes that. The unit is sized around the component it carries and the vehicle it travels in, then built the same way every time — so a frame from one depot is interchangeable with the next, and replacements match what is already in service years later.

Craned loads need certified lifting points.

Where a unit is lifted rather than driven, the lifting arrangement is the part that has to be right. Lowe builds certified lifting frames with proof-tested lifting points, marked with their working load limit so the person attaching the chains can see what they are working to.

That documentation travels with the unit. For anyone working to LOLER, the paperwork is not an extra — it is the reason the equipment can be used at all.

Manufactured in Staffordshire, evidenced on paper.

Every unit is manufactured at our own works in Uttoxeter rather than bought in, which is what makes a repeat order genuinely repeatable and a modification possible at all.

Where a specification calls for it, units are load-tested and released with their own documentation, and UKCA certification is available on custom builds. If a standard applies to your contract, tell us which one and we will build and evidence to it.
