A-Frame Stillages — common questions
What sizes of A-frame stillage do you offer?
The Load King A-frame trolley measures 2440 x 1550 x 2000mm for long panels and glass, while the L-frame stillage and trolley are 1200 x 800 x 750mm for smaller components. We also build bespoke frames to your own material and load dimensions.
What is the difference between an A-frame and an L-frame stillage?
An A-frame has a double-sided triangular profile that carries material on both faces for balanced loading, whereas an L-frame supports material against a single upright — useful where you load from one side or work against a wall.
Can A-frame stillages be moved by forklift or crane?
Yes. The frames are designed to work with forklift, crane and automated material-handling systems, and the trolley versions run on heavy-duty castors for manual movement around the shop floor. These are handling frames rather than certified lifting equipment — see our certified lifting stillages if you need LOLER-rated lifting points.
